The International Hurricane Protection Association working in unison with the International Window Film Association, has been making significant headway in countering misleading advertisements from dealers offering “Hurricane Window Film” for residential structures.
To date, no window film has been approved or passed the required national and/or state testing for hurricane protection on residential structures.
