*Note: IHPA Memberships are classified by the primary nature of the organization’s business activities. However, many IHPA Members are involved in multiple facets of the Hurricane Protection Industry.
Membership Types at a glance:
- Supplier: Supply raw materials.
- Manufacturer: Produce finished hurricane and windstorm protection (HP) products.
- Contractor: Sell and/or install finished HP products.
- Associate: Provides services (Architect, Engineer, etc) which aides in bringing HP products to market.
- Government Agency: Involved in promulgation and/or enforcement of HP related codes and regulations.
- Affiliate: Firms such as insurance companies, providing goods and/or services not for resale.
- Reciprocal: Entities in name only – membership exchange relationship.
