Hurricane Season Kick-Off

The May 21st IHPA “Hurricane Season 2010 Kick-Off Event” proved to be informative and beneficial to all attending.

The day began with a fact filled legal issues seminar presented by Jay Steven Levine and associate Christopher A. Sajdera, both attorneys with the Jay Steven Levine Law Group.  Mr. Levine serves as IHPA Counsel.

Attendees were treated to presentations by Bill Read, NHC Director and Jack Parrish of the Hurricane Hunters.  The IHPA presented awards to both organizations for Distinguished Service.

       

Throughout the day, tabletop displays of approved hurricane protection products were on display.  The day concluded with a “Meet and Greet” Reception.

It was announced that the next regular meeting of the IHPA will be in New Orleans in August- date and location to be announced.

Hurricane Season 2010 Kick Off Event

The International Hurricane Protection Association (IHPA), has announced that its Hurricane Season 2010 Kick Off Meeting of May 21, 2010 will feature Bill Read, Director of the National Hurricane Center, as keynote speaker.

The event, which will take place at Shula’s Hotel and Golf Club in Miami Lakes, will begin with a Legal Issues Seminar presented by Jay Steven Levine, JSL Law Group. NHC Director, Bill Read will speak at the luncheon meeting and a presentation by Jack Parrish, Flight Director with the Hurricane Hunters will follow. The day will conclude with a reception and displays of approved hurricane protection products.
